Kyra was absolutely indispensable! Having her as our day-of coordinator was amazing. Not only did she oversee all the setup of our venue, but she reached out to every single vendor to make sure everything was ready to go. At one point on our wedding day, my vows were lost and she found them for me! We also had two groomsmen out because of Covid, but I never felt stressed because Kyra handled everything. She was extremely organized, quick to respond, creative with planning, kind, and just so helpful! It was a pleasure getting to know Kyra and a privilege having her as our coordinator. Cannot recommend her enough!

Kyra was the absolute best day-of wedding coordinator we could have ever hoped for! I was very anxious leading up to our wedding, but once we started working with Kyra on all of the details starting about a month before the wedding, all of my anxiety went away. She was able to make sure we had everything planned that we needed, asked all of the right questions of each vendor, and was the sweetest and calmest person to work with. I was able to truly relax and enjoy myself on our wedding day because she had everything handled. Our friends and family gave us so many complements on how organized everything was and how the whole day went so smoothly, all thanks to Kyra and her assistant! I was a bride that thought I didn't need a coordinator, but I heard enough people say what a help they were and I decided to at least have a conversation. I found Kyra through a google search and from our first meeting, I was seriously blown away! Kyra was so detailed and on top of it that a friend in the room with me decided to book her too! She went through the final venue walk through with me, helped reach out to all vendors with a final timeline, created helpful google docs with different timeline views for vendors and family, and made sure everything went perfectly on the big day. She was waiting at the venue for the girls and boys to arrive, directed all the vendors when they arrived, and corralled all family to one place for family pictures. Kyra and her team helped set up for the ceremony and then a full room flip for the reception! It was wonderful to have Kyra with me before ceremony start and she made sure the dress and veil were perfect. She managed the timeline and made sure everyone was on the same page as far as what should come next. Tiny problems and questions never even reached me because Kyra took care of everything!! She even packaged up as much as she could before she left at the end of the night to help with load out. It was amazing to have Kyra on our vendor team and I was so thankful for her! I would recommend her to anyone in the KC area in a heartbeat. You need her for your big day!!!!!

We hired Kyra as our day-of wedding planner and it was the best decision we could have made! During our special day we wanted to be able to enjoy the experience and that is what Kyra and her assistant, Amy, allowed me and my husband to do.
From our first meeting with her, she showed true professionalism and the experience and knowledge she provided was impressive. She also collaborated with us on creating a day-of itinerary that was KEY to our day running smoothly, and she made sure everyone, wedding party and parents included, had copies of the itinerary and were where they needed to be when they needed to be there. She also contacted all of our vendors the week of to make sure they had the itinerary and knew where they need to go and what time they needed to arrive. This saved us so much time and stress and allowed us to finish up last minute details leading up to the wedding.
On top of that, day-of when we had a few issues arise with my hair style, as well as my father's tux, she had a very handy kit that contained everything you could ever need to fix these types of issues and she did so in a calm manner that helped put everyone at ease.
But above all else, Kyra was extremely kind and positive throughout the entire process. We knew we were not her only clients yet she gave us her undivided attention and support as we needed it. If you are even considering hiring a wedding planner or day-of planner I can tell you that Kyra is wonderful and you will not be disappointed!

My Bride Heather and I met first with Kyra over zoom. Once the zoom call was ended, we knew we didn’t need to interview anyone else. If I recall correct she was the 3rd person we interviewed and planned to interview more. But itwasn’t needed, after talking to her.
Kyra was amazing from day one and she took so much stress off our plates as my Bride and I are extremely busy with work. Not only did she help set up the venue the day of and take everything down at the end, she called anyone we asked her to, got us prices for hotels in the area I COULD GO ON FOR HOURS listing the things Kyra did to help. I know for a fact we couldn’t have pulled it off without Kyra.
In my line of work I deal with numbers and details, all day. This has made me a very picky and a detail oriented person and demand perfection. Kyra extremely impressed me with her attention to detail, as I know I can be hard to please sometimes. Kyra never once disappointed and as I mentioned I would recommend Kyra to any of my friends or Family. I would put my name on any recommendation for her.

Kyra was not only a pleasure to work with but she was on top of everything from the initial meeting the last call at the reception. We hired her for day of coordination and once we signed a contract with her she was checking in and doing follow up calls. Our walk through was a breeze with her there making sure that our vision was coming through and our requests were met. Honestly, the day of wouldn't have been the same without her. She was the calm that we needed to make sure everything went smoothly. She met with all the vendors at the space and set everything up so we could enjoy our day with our family and friends. She not only set up the ceremony but she also did a room flip for the reception. Directing and setting up all the floral arrangements, cake table, gift table, etc. When we walked in everything was perfect, even the small details we had discussed once were perfection. She took our vision and made it come to life. She also made sure we stayed on schedule and checked in to make sure we were doing good throughout the evening. Random things I didn't know I would need the day of she had ready for me after one request. Lastly, she packed up everything we brought into the venue and labeled everything so we didn't have to worry about it at the end of the night. I am so glad we decided to use her, our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without her, we can't thank her enough!

My wedding was on March 6, 2021- right in the middle of constantly changing COVID rules. I was a complete mess; I was hoping my day would be all that I envisioned and Kyra made sure that happened. She went above and BEYOND, calling the Mayor's office, in constant contact with my mother, and doing everything in her power to make sure my day was perfect. When I was thinking of back up plans, Kyra was flexible and on board with all of my back up plans. I can honestly say that my wedding day would not have gone as smoothly or as perfectly if it wasn't for Kyra and her team. She made sure every single detail was in place and I did not have to worry the entire day because I knew that she had it handled. From our initial meeting, to text messages and phone calls, to the wedding rehearsal , to the actual day of the wedding, Kyra pulled everything off without a hitch. She was timely, organized, kind, and thoughtful of the details I had not thought of yet. Out of every vendor I had hired for my wedding day, Kyra was the best. I COULD NOT recommend someone more. She was in constant contact with all 10 of my vendors, even those who lived out of state, and went way above and beyond her duties as a wedding planner. The whole day went by smoothly and there were no problems, which I feel is pretty unordinary for a wedding day starting at 7 AM and ending at 11 PM. Thank you Kyra for everything that you did to make my day amazing! It would not have been near as perfect if it wasn't for you!

I am so glad I had Kyra with A Summers' Day Events to help me through the whole wedding thing and I couldn’t have done it without her. I had her for the on the day coordination which meant we didn’t have to worry about a single organizational detail on the day of our wedding. Kyra was a tremendous help in organizing all the small details in the lead up to the wedding, from arranging visits and providing suggestions, to creating an itinerary and keeping in contact with our vendors. The day started off a little rough due to some uncontrollable circumstances but Kyra was able to solve the issue with a quickness like nothing ever happened! Not only is she extremely professional but also one of the few organizers who would fit into our budget. Kyra and her assistant was warm, approachable, and efficient and always had smiles on their faces. Kyra has a great energy and a genuine love of what she does, even our suppliers commented on how wonderful both Kyra and her assistant was to work with. Kyra was an absolute joy to work with! As mother of the groom, my planning duties were minimal but I loved how organized she was. The week before the big day, we received a detailed print out of all the contact info we needed- vendors, wedding participants, etc. along with an hour by hour itinerary. She navigated that delicate balance of asking the right questions, keeping things moving forward and not stepping on anyone's toes. The day was perfect and you definitely helped make it that way, it would not have been nearly as stress free for us (including for my mom) without you to guide us!! ... Most importantly, you were clutch in calling our uber for the end of the night, we didn't even have to think about it which was amazing, and I appreciated the ease at which you made our day by hauling all of our belongings to and from each site we went to! Your coordination of all the vendors was incredible, as the thought of trying to make sure everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there stressed me out hard-core!
