George & Martha's wedding was set on a gorgeous summer day. The ceremony was held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa Kansas. The vaulted ceilings and intricate architecture provided an aweinspiring backdrop for their wedding vows. 150 of George and Martha's  closest family and friends where able to join in celebrating their marriage despite the pandemic. It can be done! The reception was set  at Feasts Of Fancy in the Historic West Bottoms district of Kansas City. A shaded courtyard was the perfect spot to invite guests into for the cocktail hour on that warm summer evening. Inside, sunflower accents along with the rustic industrial asthetic of The Hobbs Building gave the classic charm of a Kansas wedding. The day went off without any big glitchess and the night was a beautiful testimate to the amount of love these two families have for the newlyweds. It was a pleasure to coordinate such a special occasion and make the event flow seamlessly so this happy couple could enjoy every moment!

This is a wedding I'll never forget! I worked with Jennifer for over a year on the details for her and Mitchell's big day. She was the first bride to hire me under my new business, A Summers'Day. For that I will be forever grateful! After months of coordinating with the couple, the onset of the Covid-19 Pandemic caused Jennifer and Mitchell to have to move their weding to a later date. My heart broke for them. I immediately opened up my schedule to accomadate their new wedding date. The wedding day started off smoothly but throughout the day several challenges arose that I had to navigate on the spot. Despite these unforseeable circumstances, Jennifer was one of the most appreciate brides I've worked with. I'm so glad I was able to get the day back on track so Jennifer & Mitchell could enjoy the evening they had been so patiently waiting for. The night ended with dancing and a magical sparkler sendoff!

The Hentz wedding came together beautifully. The bride and groom have a long, strong history together. It was such a joy to see their friends and family join in celebrating that relationship and the commitment to continue it for the rest of their lives. 2016 Main Event Space was the perfect setting for their ceremony and reception. With our help and the hard work of all the vendors we were able to pull off the flip seamlessly. I'm so happy I was able to be a part of their special day!
